Last spring, our Dean of Students, Shawn Moore, called on the Jacksonville College community to join a 20-day prayer challenge focused on Fall 2025 enrollment growth. Today, we are thrilled to report: the Lord has answered in a powerful way!
Thanks to your faithful prayers and unwavering support, Jacksonville College is experiencing record-breaking enrollment this fall. Our total enrollment has reached 683 students—the highest in our history.
Here are just a few highlights of this exciting growth:
- Traditional Students: Enrollment has grown from 191 last fall to 312 this year—an increase of 121 students.
- International Students: We’ve welcomed 27 international students, up from 20 last year.
- JC Singers: Participation in the JC Singers has grown from 10 to 13 students, enriching our campus worship ministry.
- Student Housing: On-campus housing has expanded from 121 to 196 students, marking a 75-student increase.
As fall approached, applications for housing surged bringing us a new kind of challenge: more students than beds! In this moment of need, the Lord once again provided. We are deeply grateful to Jason Prewitt and Daniel Springs Baptist Camp, who generously loaned us 17 bunk beds at a moment’s notice. Thanks to their kindness, and the tireless efforts of our outstanding maintenance team, the beds were picked up, delivered, and set up for students, all in a single day.
We give thanks to God for His provision, and to each of you for being part of this journey through your prayers, support, and generosity. The future at Jacksonville College is bright, and we are excited to see how God continues to move in the lives of our students.
